Claim: An advert circulating on different social media platforms claims the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Authority has opened an online portal to recruit new rangers to fill in various open positions.

Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Authority dismissed the advert to be fake. Posting on their official Facebook page, ZIMPARKS said, “We have been made aware of a fraudulent recruitment (offer) circulating online, falsely claiming to be an official hiring platform for ZIMPARKS Rangers. Please be advised that ZIMPARKS does not use unauthorised third-party websites for recruitment”.
